I have senstive skin, so the feel of fabric is important to me. These pillowcases were nice and soft. The material had a nice weight to it and you could not see through the material. Came out of the wash well too, not wrinkled.

Soft, great quality, simple pillowcases

I love these! I kind of can’t believe I bought them at such a steal! They are thicker, not the super thin that so many are these days. They are also generously sized, not narrow like some of the brands I’ve tried. Smooth, breathable fabric, well-sewn. I took off a star because they do really wrinkle and I’m not one to iron bedding. 😃

The Solid Upgrade for Any Bedroom

If you're ready to ditch the thin, synthetic feel of microfiber, the Amazon Basics 400 Thread Count Cotton Pillowcases are a fantastic 5-star step up. Made from 100% cotton, these cases have that classic, substantial feel that only natural fibers can provide. The sateen weave gives them a very subtle, lustrous sheen and a smooth finish that feels much more expensive than it actually is. In the Navy color, they look rich and sophisticated, holding their depth even after a few trips through the laundry.
The performance is exactly what you’d expect from high-quality cotton. They are naturally breathable, making them a great choice if you tend to get a little warm at night. Unlike polyester blends that trap heat, these stay relatively cool and crisp. The 400 thread count is the perfect middle ground—it's dense enough to feel durable and soft against your skin, but not so thick that the fabric becomes stiff or heavy.
