The 62 Series is a boron carbide straight bore insert with a 15.9 mm (5/8") cylindrical OD, covering bore sizes from 1/8" to 5/16" for fine to medium precision spot blasting. Boron carbide delivers typically five to ten times longer service life than tungsten carbide with aggressive abrasives such as aluminium oxide and selected mineral abrasives.

The 62 Series is made to be used in blast guns and equipment using the 5/8" insert format where aggressive abrasives are the primary media. Boron carbide is more brittle than tungsten carbide: careful handling during installation and removal is required to prevent liner cracking, and rough handling in active use should be avoided to protect the liner.

It doesn’t stay in
The pipe keeps coming out. Not worth the money. Not sturdy to hold a top table.

Good finish, poor hardware.
Set screws are poor quality and are sometimes powdercoated on the exposed threads. Leads to striped hex sockets and inability to tighten properly. Durable finish as evidenced by no visible damage after throwing parts across the shop in frustration. Ended up running self tapping screws thru parts to complete assembly.
