The Olympus mju III 120 is a 35mm compact point-and-shoot camera featuring a 38–120mm f/4.5–11.4 zoom lens, covering wide-angle to telephoto focal lengths within a single integrated unit. It incorporates a fully automatic exposure system with programmed AE, coupled with a multi-area autofocus system for subject detection. The camera includes a built-in flash with multiple modes such as auto, fill-in, and red-eye reduction. Its weather-resistant construction enhances durability for outdoor use. The active infrared autofocus operates effectively across varying distances, while the motorized film advance and rewind ensure automated film handling. A real-image zoom viewfinder provides framing corresponding to focal length adjustments.

While the “Donner Party” is a very disturbing topic from US history, I feel this book gently writes through the gory bits but keeps relevant to the suffering of those on Oregon Trail which makes this very suitable for young readers.

Engaging and Different!

Looking for a new kid's author to try now that Harry Potter has retired to a quiet life out of the spotlight? Try Stuart Gibbs. His first novel, Belly Up, is an engaging mix of mystery, humor, and adventure (as well as lots of trivia about the animal kingdom ranging from the fascinating to the . . . well, I'll let you read the book!) The story takes place at FunJungle, a huge new zoo/amusement park filled with many colorful characters. When the not-so-loveable mascot of the park, Henry the Hippo, turns up (literally) dead one day, only 12-year old Teddy, the son of two zoo employees, recognizes that this was no random event and begins his investigation only to find himself a target.
The book is perfect for the 5th-8th grade crowd (although very enjoyable for us grown-ups who haven't quite grown up yet and still love well-crafted young adult titles). I'll definitely be following his next book (not a sequel to this but an adventure based on the Three Musketeers when they were younger) which looks like will be available this fall.

Amazing but one problem

I LOVE this book but the one problem is that there are curse words. I'm 12 and I'm aware that Stuart Gibbs curses but I feel like in this particular book he cursed a lot more than he
usually does but other than that I absolutely LOVED reading this I will get the whole series for sure! If you already have read this whole series and want to read more I highly recommend spy school ( all of them there are I believe 13 of them) and space case.
