By this they meant that if one would read the Bible consistently and thoughtfully, he or she would find a clear path for his or her feet and a reasonable answer for his or her questions. If on the other hand a person merely collects all the opinions of friends, even scholarly friends, he or she will end up in confusion.Richard Bradley’s book The Bible and Today’s Tongues is an important addition to Christian literature because it begins its explanation with the clear teaching of the Bible, without reference to the ways these ideas are practiced or have been practiced by sincere believers. The book is a sincere effort to discover from the actual writings of inspired persons what God intends for us to believe.The subject of tongues-speaking is a timely one.
