More History of Red Cork Marble:
St Peter's and Paul's appears to be the first church building that employed Cork red marble in structural columns some years after their first utilization at Trinity College. In 1861 the Irish Examiner described the columns of red mottled marble in the new church as the product of our own County, now first brought into use, of beauty unsurpassed by any continental. Later in 1866 the Liverpool Daily Post also remarked on the use of native colored stone in the church, The use of native materials, hitherto unemployed for the purposes to which they have now been adopted such for instance as the beautiful Rossa marble, from Churchtown in this county, hitherto used in mending roads, now forming the plinths and columns of the principal pillars around the nave is another novel feature, and one likely to show its results in subsequent buildings of the same class. Again, the conglomeratic limestone was selected for wide diameter columns while a pinkish-grey limestone was employed in narrow decorative colonettes.

Cork Red Marble Columns in the Museum BuildingCork Red Marble Columns in the Museum Building
The Museum Building is the earliest known instance of structural columns of Connemara marble and Cork red marble. While the quarrying of Connemara marble was well established and the stone was widely used and exported prior to the conception of the Museum Building, the exploitation of the Cork Red marble was only commenced during that period. Its use in the Museum Building provided the opportunity to test and prove the stone in both a decorative and structural sense.

The orange and blue ball is perfect. Once start taken because the because the blue noisy one was a little to easy for my dog to start ripping pieces off. Will say most toys do not survive his chewing.

Aggressive chewer who loves fetch approved!!
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
I highly recommend the Chuck-It brand in general, especially for dogs with an aggressive bite. These balls are awesome and are the most durable balls I’ve bought for my 50 lbs lab mix. He has not been able to break one of them yet and we’ve had a few of the squeaky balls for months. They are a bit pricey but worth it. The one in the pic has been used for months, lives outside and you can see it’s still in great shape.

Good quality dog ball for playing fetch
Size: Medium
My dog and family love these chuck it balls to play fetch with our dog. They are durable and fun. They squeak which is added fun for any dog! Regular tennis balls my dog chews apart and they get pretty gross after playing and being left outside. These can be easily washed off and cleaned. These balls last! Would recommend to anyone with a dog and would purchase again.
