Faced with the task of redesigning the Taurus, America's best-selling car and the flagship of its fleet, Ford Motor Company assembled 700 designers, engineers, planners, and bean-counters under a tough manager who set out to retake engineering and manufacturing ground lost to the Japanese. On their shoulders rested the reputation and the profits of Ford, not to mention an investment of close to 3 billion dollars. This biting, insightful account by a seasoned journalist follows the 1996 Taurus from its conception as a clay model in Detroit to its birth in an Atlanta assembly plant to its public debut in a New Jersey dealership. Mary Walton, who was given unprecedented access to the Taurus team, chronicles brilliantly the clashes between designers and engineers, marketers and accountants, product guys and manufacturing guys to create a revealing portrait of the tension, the passions, and the pride that fuel the race to #1. "An engrossing drama . . . with fascinating insights into every aspect of the car's creation. . . . Walton does an admirable job of making the redesign of a car into a compelling human-interest story." Publishers Weekly (starred review) "An engrossing, satisfying read." Doron Levin, Philadelphia Inquirer (a Best Book of 1997) "Vivid and informative. . . . Consistently entertaining because it is engagingly written, this is the rare business book that is a page turner." Keith Bradsher, New York Times Book Review"Binding Type: Paperback

Shed Really Bad
I love tge feel of these blankets. However, they shed really bad. We have blanket fuzzy embedded in all of our clothes from these blankets. I have washed them several times.

Light, soft, comfy, cozy, but not hot!
Color: Dark Sage Green, Size: King/Cal King
I've been looking for a blanket to replace a Berkshire blanket called "Perfect Touch" I've had since 2009 and this is it! I wanted something light weight, comfy, and cozy that doesn't get so hot like many do. When I first got it i thought it might get hot because its soooo fluffy, but it doesn't. I know some have complained about shedding or it coming apart after washing. I've washed it several times, following the washing instructions provided and haven't had any issues at all, really nice quality for the price!
Oh, and its cat approved too.

Cute for girl's dorm room! Needs a wash/dry warning.
Color: Pastel Lilac, Size: Twin/Twin XL
Wash/dry by itself. Leaves lint on anything and everything that is washed and dried with it. Kiddo learned the hard way. Loves the blanket and it's feel and color but was disappointed with the left-over pills on the rest of her items from that 1 load. Soft, fluffy and lavender. Great for her dorm!

A cozy fall must-have!
Color: Pumpkin, Size: 50" x 60"
This Halloween Fleece Throw Blanket with pumpkins, leaves, and fall plaid is absolutely perfect for the season! The design is charming—everything from the vibrant pumpkins to the cozy plaid gives off major autumn vibes. It’s the ideal addition to my fall decor and keeps me warm on chilly nights.
The fleece material is incredibly soft and plush, and it's surprisingly lightweight yet warm enough for those crisp evenings. I love curling up with a cup of tea and wrapping myself in it while watching Halloween movies.
If you’re looking to add a little extra autumn magic to your home, this throw is a must-have! It’s not just cute—it's comfy and cozy too! 🍂🎃🧡
