As a CRUX Roleplaying system game, Coils of Chaos uses a full set of standard polyhedral dice (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and d20), and each character has a single ÒCrux die,Ó which is rolled for every test and levels up as they do! Written by Dutchmogul and fully illustrated by Ben Doane, Coils of Chaos comes with all the rules youÕll need to play, and features:
-five playable archetypes, including the everyperson, an ordinary person from a world like our own, thrust into the weird future. Gifted with ÒStory Armor,Ó an ability that will help them survive (and a curious biproduct of their displacement in time and space?), the everyperson is a special player role around which the other players can rally and experience the strangeness that will ensue through relatable eyes.
