Sommor Records present a reissue of Kedama's Live At Sunrise Studios, originally released in 1976. Swiss heavy-prog/kraut monster, originally released as a private, hand-made edition of 200 copies. Long instrumental/experimental tracks fueled by mellotron, Hammond, MiniMoog, ripping distorted guitar, and heavy drums. Kedama came from St. Gallen in the north-eastern corner of Switzerland, near the Bodensee - only a few kilometers from Germany and Austria. Their name was inspired by Ketama, Morocco, famous for it's cannabis fields. They were amongst the first bands - possibly the first - to record at Etienne Conod's legendary Sunrise Studios, using the "kunstkopf" artificial head system. Unfortunately, the lack of experience with this new system resulted in a slightly thin sound on the album. This reissue vastly improves the depth of the recording. Live At Sunrise Studios comprises four long instrumental tracks, two on each side of the LP. This is essential stuff, from the weird psych-funk of "Hwrlnzg" to the sitar-drenched "Improvisations". Newly remastered sound; Includes insert with rare photos and liner notes by Alan Freeman (The Crack In The Cosmic Egg (1971)); Repro of a rare promotional booklet; Includes download card which features seven amazing bonus tracks taken from unreleased studio sessions (1973-77) and the compilation Perspectives (1975); Edition of 550 (numbered).

Not very puffy puffy jacket
Size: XX-Large, Color: Denim Blue
At xxl the shoulders fit well and perhaps the first jacket where the sleeves came down to my wrists and not halfway to my elbows if I reached forward. Love the zipper. The zipper pull is at my right hand side. It is where i would use my right hand to engage and pull it closed. The zipper glides smoothly. The hood is voluminous. There is no string available to control the fit of the hood. As it us the hood is much too large. It makes the jacket look cheap and unfinished. The jacket would be immeasura bly better if the was a bit more fill in the body and a string pull in the face of the hood to bring the fit closer.

It's thin but it's good for cooler mornings and windy days
This jacket is not super thick or sherpa/fleece lined. But it's great for cooler temperatures, windy days, or staying warm while out on a boat. It's lightweight, cuts the wind and is great for layering. Folding it into the bag makes it ideal for travel and camping

Okay for the price

The product was light and compact for packing for an Alaska cruise. It was also sufficiently warm and relatively rain resistant. But on the second day of wearing, the zipper blew out. I was able to fix for a short while, but in the end, I couldn’t use it.
