The AEM 22-408B Performance Short Ram Air Intake System has been engineered to be an affordable and easy way to boost the horsepower and torque of your engine. The restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing are replaced with this AEM air intake system which was designed, tuned and dyno-tested to fit specific Honda Accord and Accord EX models. Air enters the system through an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter for outstanding air flow, filtration and performance. The sound your engine makes when accelerating is also modified to a fuller, more aggressive resonance allowing you to hear and feel the horsepower upgrade. The intake tubing is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum featuring a durable blue powder coated finish. This air intake system was developed to accommodate the engine's factory emissions control devices including the engine breather hose and any vacuum lines. The tapered cylinder shaped AEM Dryflow air filter is made from an oil-free, synthetic filter media that can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is needed (depending on driving conditions). The air intake system is easy to install with commonly available tools and it is backed by AEM's Lifetime Limited Warranty. Some AEM air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. Worth it!

I was worried it wouldn't work as well since it's 50 mil and I thought I got the wrong thing. Nope! Works great. Did all four doors on my 93 civic and I have enough for the floor I think. Solid price. Noise reduced by about 5 decibels hive difference. Very sticky and easy to apply I'm so happy I was able to cover most all of my car. If I need more, definitely buying this since I got so much extra and I thought I would.
PS: that five decibel thing is only with the four doors. My firewall is next and then my floor, but it's such a huge difference

Quiet your vehicle noises

Put this in our high roof van and couldn’t believe how much quieter it was at once. Really cut down on the vibration noise Nice and easy to install just peel n stick. Was also easy to cut with scissors for smaller areas. Seemed to be really nice quality. Didn’t notice any odor.

Good stuff

Good stuff. I did a lot of work on my 91 Toyota Land Cruiser 3FE. I did the inside and outside doors, as well as the under-hood area, with some extra work. I like this stuff. It sticks down good but you have to clean your surface so there's a good grip. I think these are going to do well for noise cancellation. The deadening material does well with absorbing vibrations too. But the install roller tools it will come in handy. Trust me trying to do it by hand is not worth it.
