The EF 50mm f/1.8 II is a standard prime lens with a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture, enabling effective low-light performance and controlled depth of field. Its optical design consists of 6 elements in 5 groups, optimized for sharp central resolution and natural perspective.
The camera provides a 3.0-inch 920k-dot LCD monitor, 9-point autofocus system, and a mechanical focal-plane shutter with speeds from 30 seconds to 1/8000 s. Continuous shooting reaches 3.9 fps, and the camera supports Full HD 1080p video recording, along with RAW and JPEG capture, ensuring flexible post-processing and image workflow.
