Limited black vinyl LP pressing including digital download. They say good things come to those who wait, and in the case of Brooklyn's The Blessed Isles, the adage bears out. After five years of recording in studios across four states, the band stands poised to inject a much-needed dose of substance into the shoegaze bloodstream with their debut 2016 LP, Straining Hard Against The Strength Of Night. Not satisfied to merely recreate the genre's trademark textures, vocalist and guitarist Aaron Closson (The Hourly Radio) and multi-instrumentalist Nolan Thies (N?TIONS) put a premium on song craft, fashioning melodies that seamlessly reinforce the tell-tale shoegaze soundscape. At their core, these are finely wrought pop songs that would shine in any genre, but are fully realized in the gossamer intricacies and stentorian pulse of Straining.

Change is not always better.
Love these. Smooth fabric and moist enough. Used to buy the regular ones. They changed the fabric to a rough texture. Pulls on the skin and not as efficient.

Awful product
These are terribly greasy, causing blurry vision. The first ingredient is mineral oil! Prior to ordering I searched the listing for the ingredients list and found nothing. I went to the product's website and still found nothing. I read reviews, which were mixed. I ordered them anyway, foolishly, and threw them in the trash.

Gentle and effective
I've been using these pads a loooong time. They take off everything and are not irritating at all (my skin is super sensitive).
However they WILL leave an oily residue on your skin causing your makeup to spread around your face a bit. I don't mind this since I'd rather be over moisturized than dry. Nothing a little Cetaphil can't conquer post eye makeup removal.
I've since switched to Bioderma Crealine which lives up to all the hype. It takes ALL my makeup off without leaving any residue. I still use the EyeQ pads for heavy duty mascara and traveling since they are compact and cut down on the amount of stuff I need to carry.
