Yarn Kit - Soft & Fussy, Helica Pullover by Teti Lutsak

Under the name of Teti's Knit Garden, Teti is known for her nature inspired, almost etheric looking, romantic and timeless style. Teti chose the name for this design, Helica, from Latin, meaning “winding”, because of the winding ivy branch of the colourwork motifs on the yoke.

For the more intermediate or adventurous beginner maybe, the design features an interesting cast-on method, which imitates tubular cast-on, then transitions into 2x2 ribbing. Moreover, the bottom of the yoke is decorated with the woven in “root-like” elements, which can be extended all the way to the body. The pullover is knit top-down in the round. It has a relaxed fit and a boxy body. The sleeves are tapered towards the cuffs, with the cuffs being relaxed and on the looser size.

In addition you'll need circular needles size 3mm / US2.5 and 3.5mm / US4 in 80-100cm / 32-40” length, preferred needles in same sizes to work smaller circumferences, spare cables, spare circular needles or scrap yarn to keep sts on hold, a few stitch markers, a crochet hook and scrap yarn for working provisional cast-on, and a darning needle for weaving in your ends.
