In this book, the American pragmatist Richard Rorty and the French analytic philosopher Pascal Engel present their radically different perspectives on truth and its correspondence to reality. Rorty doubts that the notion of truth can be of any practical use and points to the preconceptions that lie behind truth in both the intellectual and social spheres. Engel prefers a realist conception, defending the relevance and value of truth as a norm of belief and inquiry in both science and the public domain. Rorty finds more danger in using the notion of truth than in getting rid of it. Engel thinks it is important to hold on to the idea that truth is an accurate representation of reality. In Rorty's view, epistemology is an artificial construct meant to restore a function to philosophy usurped by the success of empirical science. Epistemology and ontology are false problems, and with their demise goes the Cartesian dualism of subject and object and the ancient problematic of appearance and reality. Conventional "philosophical problems," Rorty asserts, are just symptoms of the professionalism that has disfigured the discipline since the time of Kant. Engel, however, is by no means as complacent as Rorty in heralding the "end of truth," and he wages a fierce campaign against the "veriphobes" who deny its value. Smells too strong
Size: 5 in
My dog hates the way this thing smells. She tries to play with it, but the scent is too strong for her nose. I know it's the scent because she usually sniffs it two or three times in between trying to grab it with her mouth. She treats it like an explosive in her mouth and quickly moves away after spitting it out.
She used to have a bone that looked similar to this (same material) that was unscented and she gnawed the hell out of it. My sister's pitbull spent the night and chewed that toy into bits, leaving my Yorkie mourning the loss of her once treasured bone.
Please make an UNSCENTED version of this toy!!!!

If you were looking for a sign to buy this, here it is
Color: A) Small 2.5" Ball
If you are looking for a ball that can stand up next to a heavy, aggressive chewer.. this is a good choice. Our Pitbull literally destroyed any and every toy that she gets with the exception of one kind of kong ball. She tore through the kong Frisbees, any kind of squeaker toy, and the wobble wag giggle ball (she usually always ends up destroying these but it takes a few weeks. Today she beat her record and had her brand new ball destroyed within the first 30 minutes of us taking it out of the box). But, this ball she has not been able to destroy. I'd like to believe that the Kong ball she has and this ball are made of the same material. Because they are the only balls she can't ruin. And it's not because of a lack of trying. We have watched her sit there and chew with a side of her mouth for an hour or more, trying to make some kind of indention or tear in it and it just never happened. She loves to chew this thing, chase this thing, sleep with this thing. I most certainly recommend this ball. If it is I'ah proof then it is most certainly, 100% a durable ball and worth every penny

Chew King Supreme Chew Toy

So far, freaking amazing. This ball is awesome. I have a 90 lb American Bulldog. Like other reviews. Lot of " indestructible balls" lasted minimum time. Not this one. She even took it to bed with her
I bought the 3 inch ball, not the 4 inch ball. The 3 inch ball works amazingly for a large Dog. Yes the 4 inch would be better. So in my opinion, either ball would be fine.
As others also said. This ball keeps a active Dog busy for hours. Love to play catch. Love frozen peanut butter in it.
One last thing. The price is amazing. I don't see needing to buy another, unless it is lost, because this is made to last. We couldn't be happier.

Malinois proof
Color: B) Medium 3" Ball
So far this has held up great. My Malinois who has destroyed nearly every ball I’ve gotten her, this one has lasted over 3 weeks without a dent, compared to some that don’t even last a day lol. Although the medium size is a little too big for her liking she still plays with it. It’s very durable and I like the middle part for engagement as well. I would recommend if you have a dog who destroys every ball possible.

Actually Durable

One of the few "heavy duty" toys that my pittie hasn't destroyed after a couple of weeks. Most of them last two days. She's an absolute beast so I'm confident if she can't destroy it, few dogs can.
