An attractive late Victorian era brooch, shaped as a claw, or perhaps a tooth, carved out of nephrite, with 15ct yellow gold engraved fittings. A beautiful antique piece, complete with original pin and 'C' catch fitting.

Circa 1890.

Unmarked, tested as 15ct gold.

The brooch measures approximately 53 x 13mm.

The approximate weight is 9.1 grams.

CONDITION: Overall very good, with some light wear commensurate with age including light surface scratches to the nephrite and gold. The pin and catch function perfectly.
