SpaceX’s Starship represents the pinnacle of modern space exploration—a fully reusable two-stage launch system comprising the Super Heavy booster and the Starship upper stage. Engineered for rapid turnaround, exceptional payload capacity, orbital refueling, and versatile missions, it spans from Low Earth Orbit (LEO), within about 2,000 km (1,200 miles) of Earth where satellites and crewed spacecraft thrive, to lunar sorties supporting NASA’s Artemis program, and ultimately, crewed journeys to Mars. This groundbreaking vehicle embodies humanity’s bold step toward becoming a multi-planetary species.

Our TransportTags honor this legacy through an authentic piece of Starship history: a fragment from SN11, an upper-stage prototype tested at Boca Chica, Texas. On March 30, 2021, SN11 ascended and descended successfully but met an explosive end just before touchdown. Salvaged from the waters near the site, this stainless steel section was acquired in 2025 from YouTuber and influencer Jack Schneider. In 2026, we upcycled these reclaimed pieces into unique TransportTags, each embedding a tangible slice of Starship’s developmental journey—one that will propel us to the stars.
