Romanus Weichlein was born in Linz to parents who were musicians and who gave him a good musical education. He received his first formal training at the abbey of Lambach and entered the Benedictine Order in 1671. He then went to Salzburg where he got acquainted with Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber. He returned to Lambach, and later became chaplain and musical director of the Benedictine convent of Nonnberg in Salzburg. His oeuvre consists of twelve sonatas for strings and a collection of seven mass settings. The masses don't contain very virtuosic parts, with the exception of some vocal passages now and then. Polyphonic and homophonic episodes alternate, there are tutti and solo sections and instrumental preludes and interludes. Weichlein also makes use of the practice of instruments playing colla parte, for instance 3 trombones in the Missa Rectorum Cordium. "The St. Florianer Sängerknaben is really an outstanding choir of boys - sopranos and altos - which produces a warm sound and sings with great flexibility and excellent text expression... These are enthralling recordings which show a lesser-known aspect of Austrian music-making in the time of Biber." (musica-dei-donum)

Better Than Manscape

This little trimmer is incredible. I have had a Manscape for a few years now, but it nipped me and the battery life was garbage. However, this bad boy hasn't cut me once, it charges quick, and lasts forever. My wife and I will both use it back to back and has no issues. She uses it in the shower and it holds up. It's comfortable, doesn't over heat, and works great. Again... I think it's way better than manscape.

Nice shaver and is easy to use.

The olov electric body hair trimmer does a good job shaving the arms and legs but you have to be careful when shaving the private area . You have to stretch the skin on the privates as you shave between the inner thigh it will nick the skin on the scrotum.The olove is narrow enough to shave the privates.

So good had to buy it twice!

I originally bought this OLOV trimmer in October 2022, and after nearly four years of regular use, I just ordered the exact same one again. Honestly, that’s probably the strongest endorsement I can give.
Up until about a month and an half ago, it worked amazingly well. Recently, it started making a buzzing sound and became noticeably less comfortable to use. It began pulling hairs, nicking skin, and generally lost the smooth performance that made me love it in the first place. I tried cleaning it thoroughly and even adding clipper oil, but the loud noise and abrasive trim problems still persist.
That said, for a trimmer that costs around $30, getting almost four years of reliable use is more than fair in my book. I barely considered alternatives; I just bought another one because I didn’t want to gamble on something else for a higher entry point.
A few things I really like:
-Charges quickly.
-Holds a charge forever. It’s literally never died on me. Great for travel, and I’ve often left the charger at home for short trips.
-Easy to clean and maintain.
-Comfortable to use pretty much anywhere on the body. I’ll leave that part to your imagination. 😉
-Excellent value for the money.
I’ve seen some reviews mentioning broken plastic teeth on the blade, but mine never broke. No idea what caused the buzzing issue on my old unit, but after nearly four years of service, I can’t complain.
Bottom line: If you’re looking for a solid body trimmer that won’t break the bank and can give you years of use, this is easily the best value trimmer I’ve personally used. For the price point, it’s worth trying to experience what a comfortable, snag-free trim is supposed to be like because, before this trimmer, I didn’t even know it was possible.
I do think it’s a 5-star product when it works, but considering that mine did eventually fail, I’m giving it 4 stars. But seriously, I don’t think you can go wrong with this. Give it a try!
