Description:

The T1SS-F12 Mod-Twin 10.5 HD Sprung Street Kit is tailored for high-powered street machines, offering a blend of uncompromised pedal feel, durability, engagement quality, and high torque capacity. This kit achieves its performance through a modular design that combines twice the organic friction surfaces with an ultra-durable sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly.

Each diaphragm spring undergoes an exclusive four-stage heat-treating process to ensure a consistent light pedal feel. The steel-backed friction plates, featuring high-quality organic friction materials, deliver a stable friction coefficient, good heat capacity, and long clutch life. These friction plates uniformly transfer torque to the Mono-Drive sprung hub assembly, extending input shaft life and reducing driveline shock from torsional vibration.

Included in this kit are a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, face, puck-style ceramic friction plates, sprung Mono-Drive hub assembly, floater, patented Monoloc Collar, release bearing, alignment tool, and pilot bearing (where applicable). The Mod-Twin clutches are fully rebuildable, and replacement discs may be ordered separately.

  • ACT Difference: Utilizes tactical engineering to address common tradeoffs found in twin-disc clutches, resulting in an ultra-durable, customer-serviceable, long-lasting clutch with very high torque capacity. All clutches are 100% clamp load tested, balanced, and SFI certified.

Pros: Can be used with one hand. I bought this to have after surgery that left me without use of one arm for a few months. The light blinks when you need to charge it. Only needs a 2-3 min charge for enough juice to open a can. Cons: IT QUIT CUTTING CORRECTLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. I now have to use both hands to hold it in place to get it to latch on to the can. It also requires a few rotations around the top to cut through the seal, resulting in METAL SHARDS! The metal shards are super sharp and almost invisible. I stabbed myself with one enough to draw blood. This is dangerous as the metal could fall into the food when pouring from the can.
