Karthäuserhofberg is Karthäuserhof's monopole vineyard within the Ruwer. This is old school Spätlese with luscious stone fruit and richness on the palate.

Christoph and Graciela Tyrell, owners of Weingut Karthäuserhof, reside in the top echelons of Mosel wine producers. This estate has been in existence for centuries, and was previously owned by Carthusian monks, following its presentation to them by Prince Balduin of Luxembourg in the 14th century. Since taking control of this historic estate in the 1980s, the Tyrells have brought together the Kronenberg, Orthsberg, Sang and Stirn vineyards into one site, now referred to simply as Karthäuserhofberg. The Karthäuserhofberg vineyard is situated in Eitelsbach, a small village on the Ruwer, near the town of Trier. The vineyard, comprising 19 hectares of predominantly Devon slate, is one of the most highly regarded in Germany, and owned solely by the Tyrells. The vast majority is planted with Riesling, with a small amount of Weissburgunder. The Riesling is grown on disintegrated slate soils which radiate warmth to the vines and act as storage heating, slowly releasing the heat from the day at night. Harvest occurs as late as possible in the season and the Tyrells keep yields low in an effort to produce the highest quality Riesling possible. All wines are produced in the estate’s climate controlled cellars. In the 1980s the traditional “Fuder” barrel was replaced with stainless steel vats to preserve the lively purity of the Riesling and elegance of their Pinot Blancs. The wines are matured slowly, without much interference, guarding its natural minerality, fruit aromas and acidity. Karthauserhof’s wines are well-regarded for their capacity to age.

Gourmet drizzle of deliciousness
Flavor Name: Variety Pack 2, Size: 16.5 fl oz (Pack of 4)
Torani is a great product - very happy we were able to order them through Amazon. They last without being refrigerated (but we go through them fast during parties). The syrups taste like they're from an ice cream shop - we use them for ice cream parties for variety. This set is a great price compared to buying in-store. The syrup is not watery, it's a nice thick syrup that is great for coffee or desserts. The consistency is not as thick as a fudge topping, but thick enough to drizzle, if that makes sense. Will buy again!

A must for my coffee station. Great taste and makes me miss a cafe latte a little less. Love the taste of all four.

Ranked and reviewed by flavor
Flavor Name: Variety Pack 2, Size: 16.5 fl oz (Pack of 4)
Not using these syrups in coffee or drinks, just on muffins, breadsticks and ice cream. Here are the individual reviews from best to worst: -Caramel: almost perfect creamy pure caramel taste. Only flaw is I wish it were thicker. 9/10. -Dark Chocolate: has that classic slightly bittersweet dark countenance. You can almost taste a pleasant burnt cocoa bean flavor. Only flaw is that it is a bit too thick. 8/10. -Chocolate Caramel: not a perfect 50/50 blend, tastes more like a 70/30 blend in favor of caramel. Consistency is perfect, just the right thickness. 7/10. -White Chocolate: doesn't taste like WC whatsoever. It tastes like sickly sweet birthday cake icing in liquid form. Worst of all it is runny with no thcikness. 4/10.

Yummy
Flavor Name: Butterscotch
I'm very picky about taste, especially the coffee syrup. I have tried several and most do not even taste like the "name" on the bottle. I decided to try this one and it is so good, it tastes like butterscotch. Mmmmm The pump works fine and 2 squirts is perfect.
