This is the story of two of the greatest empires in the history of rockÑand how the songwriting and production powerhouse that was Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman, and the production and promotion genius of Mickey Most came to dominate the British charts for the first half of the 1970s.

And not just any old charts. The period 1971-1975 was the era of glam rock, the brightest, loudest, most star-spangled moment in the entire rockÕnÕroll era.

The stars that it threw upÑDavid Bowie, Marc Bolan and T Rex, Elton John, Mott the Hoople, David Essex, Alvin Stardust, SladeÑremain idols even today; the also-rans, from Hello to Daddy Maxfield; from Edwina Biglets and the Miglets to Barry Blue, populate an entire new universe known as Junkshop Glam.

Up there with psychedelia, which immediately preceded glam, and punk, which promptly followed it, glam rock soundtracked the lives of British, European, Australian, Japanese, and even some American teens with razor sharp accuracy and grampus-like tenacity.

But of all of its greatest exponents, there is a select handful who soundtracked it louder than most. The Sweet, Mud and Suzi Quatro, who between them sent almost 325 weeks on the UK chart between 1971-75 (eighteen of them at number one), all with material produced and largely written by Chinn and Chapman.

I Exclusively Use ONLY Hiipoo Products - Simply the BEST!
Size: 120g 8.5" x 11"
I'm just about to purchase this product for the 3rd time. I simply cannot believe how well this product works for me. In the past, I had a $2k Ricoh sublimation printer, using Sawgrass ink, and specialty sublimation paper. That expensive Ricoh printer didn't last over 2 years. I took such great care of that machine, and it was terrible. Now, I use an Epson-2800, and I ONLY USE Hiipoo ink and paper, because it is THE BEST! Hiipoo inks work excellent in Epson printers, but you must initially start with their ink, you cannot add the ink to whatever you already have in your printer. This paper is compatible with Epson printers. I will exclusively only use Hiipoo products. The quality is unmatched. The performance is superior. The value is outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend Hiipoo products. I am not a paid spokesperson, not do I receive compensation for this review. I just own a business that provides laser engraving and sublimation printed items. You cannot go wrong using this sublimation paper. Buy their inks too, the quality of the printed items are exceptional. Excellent thickness of paper. It's durable, dries quickly and the color quality is excellent! Love Hiipoo products!!!

Great paper!
Size: 120g 8.5" x 11"
I love Hiipoo sublimation paper!Colors come out crisp and clear. And so bright and beautiful! The pattern on the back is a real big plus also. This paper is great quality, not flimsy, thick enough that it's easy to use and printers don't have problems picking it up.

Size: 120g 8.5" x 11"
Works well for Sublimation done thru Ink Jet Printers. Quality material and the finished heating provided great results in my projects. I used in conjunction with the Hiipoo Sublimation Ink and they made beautiful results with no issues. Thank you.
