Bob Marley Reversible “Test Print” Tee from Balzout

This extremely rare test print tee somehow made its way out of a Bazlout/S&E Sportswear printing facility in the 1990s. Balzout was one of the main clothing entities granted licensing rights by Bob Marley Music during the mid 1990s. They also had licensing rights for some other musicians during this time. A “test print” is a term used to describe shirts such as this one, in which the manufacturer had used a blank tee to test print some of their graphics. This could have been for a number of reasons ranging from testing the appearance of a newly created graphic, testing different types of shirts, testing printing equipment, or testing new colors. A test print tee overall is rare to come by but still has been seen from a number of different manufacturers/printers, certainly not just Balzout. However the majority of test print tees that have made their way into circulation tend to be a mish mosh of graphics printed on top of one another. So it is even rarer to see one like this in which the graphics printed on the inside of the shirt are unobstructed and just happen to be one of the rarest, most sought after, Bob Marley graphics created by Balzout. Printed on the outside of the shirt are some more Bob Marley graphics along with a Pink Floyd graphic as well.
