Speckled orange Seedhead mohair silk lace

These are 50g skeins of Lace weight Seedhead base yarn.

It is made of mohair or kid and silk. This gives a soft halo and can be used on its own or is also beautiful held together with another yarn. Try using it that was for a jumper or tee.

64% Kid Mohair, 36% Silk - Lace weight 50g Skeins Approx. 420m

It has been hand dyed by me in the Allium Threads studio with madder to give an oange colour speckled with darker orange.

Dye lot 19707.

I have tried to capture the colour of the yarn as accurately as possible. Please bear in mind that monitors vary and colours can be perceived differently.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, the colours in each skein may be slightly different and no two skeins will be identical. As with any hand dyed wool, if using more than one skein then alternating skeins on every couple of rows will help to balance any slight differences.

I have rinsed the yarn until it runs clear. However, some dye may remain.
I recommend you soak your finished item in a gentle/pH neutral soap. Natural dyes can change or fade slightly as they age. Hang to dry away from direct sunlight and store in a dark place.
