| The SHURDry Slide Dryer lll is a high-capacity rapid slide dryer oven/incubator with two shelves (one adjustable), six operator-definable timers that can be set to indicate individual drying times, microprocessor-controlled for precision. Glass doors and sides, along with LED lighting, make it easy for the user to view racks, bowls, and other containers within the unit without releasing heat by opening doors. The SHURDry Slide Dryer lll is a forced air rapid slide dryer oven/incubator for multiple uses within the lab. It is microprocessor-controlled, with a panel that utilizes seven keys that function as individual timers for multi-use drying times. Keys can be programmed for different times, and a distinct alarm will sound when an item is ready to be removed. It features 2 speeds for fan settings, a 700-watt heater. Temperatures range from ambient room temperature to 75°C, and the SD-lll design, including an adjustable shelf, allows for an assortment of sizes of containers. The design also allows for efficient storage of melted paraffin; eliminating the need to re-melt. LED lighting, glass doors and sides provide easy visibility and make cleaning simple. Scholarly and Readable, Too
Format: Paperback
I read the first volume in this series (about the Great Depression), and now I'm in the midst of this one. Kennedy's very-lucid prose keeps the reader moving along, and of course, the sweep of the story he's telling is nearly-irresistible. But in lamer hands, the prose might well have bogged down in turgidity--not so in this case!

Good but not as good
Format: Kindle
Freedom From Fear #1 was one of the most interesting and informational books I've ever read. Part Two was interesting but I did not learn much more about the war than I had known before other than the fact that, while Japan lost the war, Anglo-Saxons are no longer in control in the Far East. I somewhat disagree with his ending ideas about the "good" war, that it wasn't so "good" after all in it's outcome. However, those who fought in it and their families would probably disagree.
