Limited vinyl LP pressing. 2018 release, the 10th album from influential Swedish duo Club 8. The band has worked with field recordings, instruments from the Middle East and Asia and dusty old synthesizers to create meditative, hypnotic sound-scapes on the album. Golden Island marks the duo's biggest leap since they formed in the small town of Åhus in 1995. The album is a place somewhere between the real and the imaginary. It dwells on quietness and subtle moves created by odd instruments, field recordings and sampled voices creating embracing atmospheres pending from soothing to haunting. Club 8 was founded by teenagers Karolina Komstedt and Johan Angergård in their hometown of Åhus, Sweden in 1995. The duo started out as a Bossa Nova inspired guitar-pop band as heard on 1996's Nouvelle then soon after moved on to create electronic dance music found on 1998's The Friend I Once Had. Between 2001 and 2003, they made three chilled out indie soul albums and returned after a four year long hiatus with The Boy Who Couldn't Stop Dreaming. Angergård served as album producer up until 2010 when the band enlisted Jari Haapalainen to work on the African-tinged The People's Record that ended up on Under The Radar's Top 10 list of 2010 years Best Albums. Johan returned to the producer's chair with the diverse Above The City in 2013 and also served a producer on 2015's album on sex & jealousy, Pleasure.

Fantastic keyboard
I did a lot of research before choosing this keyboard, and man am I glad I got it! The split is great, very comfortable. The arch is minimal, but it does the job. I also really like this scissor-switch technology, no more backspacing to fix a key that didn't register the first time! The built-in wrist rest is also really nice. I type a lot for work, and at a rate of 55 WPM. The keyboard gives just the right amount of feedback, and the keys are not mushy at all.
It's also a very good looking keyboard, and is very responsive. I have heard some people mention (not just on this keyboard) that they have some lag/delay with their typing. I would bet the farm that they have plugged the receiver into a USB hub. If you're going to do that, then get yourself a USB extension cable, because the hub will cause interference with ANY wireless dongle you plug into it. Just a foot or so of distance from the hub will alleviate that. I found that out with my prior Logitech keyboard, after lots of searching around for what the cause could be.
The ONLY thing I would improve is fairly minor: It does not have dedicated keys for Page Up/Down, Home, or End. You need to hold down the function key and use the corresponding arrow key for those functions. Not even remotely a deal breaker, this keyboard is fantastic in every other aspect.

Soft keyboards ( updated)
The keys fell off very easily after only 2.5 months of use. It is a nice and smooth keyboard. I like it, but it didn't last even 3 months. I am trying to get it repaired by them since it was so recent that I got it- I will update this review later once I hear from the manufacturer.
This is an update to my original post. I am extremely impressed with the quality of customer service and how fast they addressed my concerns regarding the product and they honestly back up their product. Not only did they respond fast, but they also replace my keyboard. Not just fix it, replaced the whole thing and it is also backed by their manufacturer warranty. I’m so happy and love that I get to have my keyboard back to use for hopefully a lot longer this time. It truly is a comfort keyboard and I love how smooth the keys feel when typing for long periods of time. Thanks guys for the prompt response!
Today 3/27/2026 I received my brand new keyboard to replaced the one with the broken keys and I’m so happy to it back again and fully working thanks guys for the great customer service. Truly appreciate it.

Great keyboard at the right price
I bought this to replace my old Logi Ergo K860. I like the idea of curved keyboard. But the distance between my left and right hands on Ergo K860 was bothering me ever since I bought it 5 years ago. I would say I never got used to it. The Ergo started to act up one day with one key F not working properly. I tried to fix it and considered getting another one, then I saw this keyboard with a much better price. So I took the chance and went with this cheaper option. I like this one better than Ergo for the following reason:
1. The layout is more comfortable. Yes, it took me a while to get used to it like I would with any keyboard. I don't have to twist my wrists to reach any keys.
2. Keys are not too loud. It's not going to silent, but better than Ergo.
3. Battery life is great. I make a living by typing my keyboard. I only charged this keyboard once so far (4 months).
4. The price is great for what I got.
