The long and mesmerizing single piece of analog electronic music that develops over the two sides of Images for Diana Baylon (1972), the latest Die Schachtel "Silver Series" LP is a soundscape composed by Teresa Rampazzi for the artist Diana Baylon's 1972 exhibition at the modern art gallery Il Fiore in Florence, Italy. Diana Baylon (1920-2013), a friend of Rampazzi's, was a cross-disciplinary artist who transformed various materials (ceramics, glass, metal, paper, paintings, graphics, jewelry) into figurative and - later in the '60s - abstract and programmatic art objects. In the summer of 1969 she appeared - along with Alberto Burri, Pablo Picasso, Jean Dubuffet and Lucio Fontana - at the Festival dei Due Mondi di Spoleto exhibition "Maitres Et Jeunes D'aujourd'hui". For the 1972 Florence exhibition, Teresa Rampazzi realized this long "soundtrack" (in her words) to be played in loop. Sounds were made with the analog equipment she used at the time. "The inner space of the exhibition" she wrote, "is made of sound, for the whole duration of the exhibition. The work is composed by a series of sound events, with both informal and aleatory features, in a continuous flux, and there is no planned predetermination in any of the various sections. This choice has been made for the sound space to adjust to the sculptor's plastic and loose images." Immagini per Diana Baylon was in fact the third time Teresa Rampazzi realized music for an exhibition. The first was also the very first experimental composition that Rampazzi and Ennio Chiggio composed in 1965, a sound collage for the opening of an exhibition of the Gruppo Enne at the International Biennale d'Arte in Venice. The second soundscape piece, "Environ" (1970), was realized for the presentation of a 360 degree round modular couch in foamed resin designed by Chiggio, presented at a furniture shop in Padova in 1970. The piece is featured on the Die Schachtel Musica Endoscopica LP by Teresa Rampazzi released in 2009 (DS 009LP). Immagini per Diana Baylon is the eighth LP release in the Die Schachtel "Silver Series" dedicated to the pioneers of early Italian electronic music. Limited deluxe vinyl LP edition. Silver printed cover with silver-foil print, with a red inner sleeve and booklet. Edition of 450.

Definitely pick one up!
Color: Black Walnut, Color: Black Walnut
This stand looks great, the material has a nice finish, and the quality is really good. It holds two MacBooks very comfortably. It doesn’t take up much space and has a good weight to it so it will not move easily. Great buy!

Finally a dual vertical stand with a stable build, quality materials, and snug fit for MacBook Pro
Color: Black Walnut, Color: Black Walnut
I don’t normally write reviews but I’ve had so much trouble finding an adequate vertical stand for two MacBook Pros that doesn’t worry me every time I look at it. I can finally say with confidence that I won’t need to replace this one. Not only is this stand attractive, it is simply a lot more sturdy than the all-metal “industrial” stand that it will replace because my MacBooks fit into it without wobbling, it has a wide surface area base, and its overall fairly heavy due to a solid wood + solid metal build. This vertical stand stands apart in the two areas that my previous two stands have failed at: 1. A snug fit with a protective lining so that the laptops don’t wobble and bump into each other (the dual Omoton I have suffers from this terribly where the laptops bump and lean against one another) 2. A solid base with enough weight to prevent the stand from tipping over from an accidental bump (my single-laptop human centric mount is beautiful, but the base is too light and narrow so that any decent contact feels that it might tip over) This stand has a very solid build quality with a nice weight to it which is comforting when potentially storing two expensive pieces of hardware in a vertical orientation that lends to tipping over (MacBook Pros are absurdly well over $2k a piece now on average). This is now the third vertical stand I’ve purchased for my two MacBook pros (work & personal). It’s not my third because I compulsively purchase things I don’t need (though I do do that), but rather because the previous two models felt unstable and carried a greater risk of damaging a few thousand dollars in equipment. Anyway, this is my first purchase from this brand but I highly recommend!

Perfect for laptops, tablets, Remarkables, Kindles - you name it! This dock is perfect!
Color: Black Walnut, Color: Black Walnut
Coming across UPERGO has been a blessing. To find items of this caliber without having to pay a mortgage payment on it is a lifesaver. It truly is, and I have found that based on my desk setups in my office, UPERGO has not let me down with any of their products. I had already previously owned a UPERGO Vertical Laptop stand. I use that one for my productivity desk for my work laptop and my personal gaming laptop. So, I knew its quality was legitimately top notch already. The problem I ran into was a workflow issue. I have four portable devices that I carry every day at some point: Microsoft Surface Pro 13", Remarkable Paper Pro, Remarkable Paper Pro Move, and a Kindle Colorsoft. The problem is that I did not want to keep them inside the desk drawer that I use. So, I need something to help save some space on my desk and sort of dock these items when there were not in use. I set one on each opposite side of my desk and that worked out perfectly. I was able to save desk space but also add a bit of protection for these devices. I could adjust the slots, if needed, but it worked out just fine. And the material inside gripped these devices perfectly. Once again, UPERGO has been able to build a product that fit ideally into my use-case. This time, albeit in a slightly different manner, but it was exactly what I was looking for.
