Limited 180 gm vinyl LP pressing including 24 page booklet and poly-lined inner sleeve. Jethro Tull notched it's sixth gold record in 1975 with it's eighth studio album, Minstrel In The Gallery. It's elaborate production is reminiscent of the band's 1972 classic Thick As a Brick and it's songs rock as hard as anything in the band's vast and storied catalog. To mark the occasion of the album's 40-year anniversary, Rhino presents this stereo remix of Minstrel In The Gallery. When it was originally released, Minstrel In The Gallery became the band's fifth consecutive U.S. Top 10 album, peaking at #7, and at #29 in the U.K. It would also be the last to feature the longtime lineup of Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, John Evans, Barrie Barlow and Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond.

An Essential
Format: Paperback
I've created PowerPoints for executives in major corporations and national non-profits for years now, and this is one of the first books I suggest anyone who needs to create their own PowerPoint look to. Beyond Bullet points is accessable enough that the novice PowerPoint user can understand what's going on and use the lessons in his or her next presentation; it's also detailed and challenging enough that even an old salt like me can find things to learn and do. Don't be another person who stands on stage reading their PowerPoint, and don't let reading your slides distract the audience from your presentation; follow the suggestions in this book and wow your audience.

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
