K-Tuned Accord / TSX Shifter Base Plate v2 - K-swap 88-00 Civic / 90-01 IntegraK Tuned has re released their billet shifter base plate for the TSX Accord shifter for K swapped 88 00 Civic CRX & 90 01 Integra vehicles. The K Tuned billet shifter base plate is designed to install the K Tuned Accord billet shifter or OEM 03 07 Accord 04 08 TSX shifter into the EF EG EK DC2 chassis's. This setup is preferred by many racers, esp. road course racers, because it mounts the shifter atop the exhaust tunnel, higher in the vehicle, keeping

K-Tuned has re-released their billet shifter base plate for the TSX/Accord shifter for K-swapped 88-00 Civic/CRX & 90-01 Integra vehicles.

The K-Tuned billet shifter base plate is designed to install the K-Tuned Accord billet shifter or OEM 03-07 Accord/04-08 TSX shifter into the EF/EG/EK/DC2 chassis's. This setup is preferred by many racers, esp. road course racers, because it mounts the shifter atop the exhaust tunnel, higher in the vehicle, keeping it closer to the driver and the steering wheel. It also leaves a lot more room below the car for large exhaust systems. This shifter plate was designed to route the shifter cables inside the vehicle and generally exits the cabin through the heater hose hole at the firewall. The heater core must be removed in order for this cable routing to work or another hole must be made to route the cables to the engine bay. Note that this shifter setup does not clear any interior center consoles/paneling on any of the mentioned vehicles.

The Accord/TSX shifter setup has gained popularity throughout the years because it can be used on K-swapped cars using the newer 06-11 Civic Si K20Z3 trans, TSX, and Accord K24A trans. Thanks to the top K-swap engine mount kit companies, K24A transmissions are now adaptable into these 'legacy chassis's.

Note that a special cable bracket (also made by K-Tuned) can be ordered as an option to complete the K20Z3 trans setup.

K-swapped Vehicle applications: 88-91 Civic/CRX, 92-95 Civic, 96-00 Civic, 94-01 Integra

Note: The base plate mounts to the car using the 4 supplied bolts. 2 bolts match up to the stock shift linkage. The other two must be drilled and use the supplied lock nuts to secure. Billet base bushings and bolts also come with the kit to mount the shifter to the plate.
