Danish thrash veterans Artillery return to the spotlight with a reissue of their critically acclaimed 2018 masterpiece, The Face Of Fear. This 9th studio album sees the band delivering a no-filler, "old school" approach recorded with long-time producer Søren Andersen at Medley Studios.
The Face Of Fear finds the band at their best, blending the rapid-fire technical riffing they are famous for with the melodic, soaring vocals of Michael Bastholm Dahl, who joined in 2012. The album is a "masterpiece" of traditional speed/power metal that satisfies fans of both modern and old-school thrash. Featuring the late Morten Stützer's final work on a studio album, this reissue honors a crucial chapter in the band's longevity.
