K360 Plus DeviceThe K360 Plus Device is designed for the youngest, smallest statured kart drivers. Its shape allows it to sit down farther on the shoulders of younger drivers so it's not pushing up on the base of the helmet and impeding the driver's vision. The dense foam construction not only makes it very lightweight, but strong enough to provide a stable platform for helping control the movement of a driver's head when needed. The K360 Plus Device is designed for the youngest, smallest statured kart drivers.

Major issues the K360 Plus Device helps limit are front and rear hyper-flexion and extreme lateral motion. This is all accomplished while still allowing the driver unrestricted rotation of the head to look over the shoulder for oncoming karts.

Sizing Instructions

Suitable for drivers 5 - 9 years old.  It may also be worn by slightly older drivers that have a shorter neck that have trouble wearing a neck collar that pushes up on the bottom of their helmet.

Technical Information

The K360 Plus Device is engineered specifically for the youngest and smaller statured kart racers to help reduce excessive head and neck movement during impact situations.

Key Protection Features

  • Helps reduce frontal hyper-flexion using high-density chin support foam
  • Rear vertical brace system helps control rearward helmet movement
  • Limits extreme lateral head motion during rollover and side-impact situations
  • Transfers impact energy from the helmet to the upper torso area
  • Lightweight design at only 1.5 lbs
  • Integrated harness / strap break-away feature helps reduce the risk of severe neck injury in unusual entanglement situations

Engineered For Kart Racing

Unlike some foam neck collars, the K360 Plus Device uses molded, dense impact-control foam to provide a more stable helmet support platform without restricting normal head movement.

The device is designed exclusively for kart racing applications and is approved for use by WKA and IKF.  This device should not be used in conjunction with any type of harness system.

Deep dive into Linux Kernel Architecture
Format: Paperback
Have you been wanting to figure out the innards of the Linux kernel without getting overwhelmed or have been working without enough context to actually understanding it, here is a fantastic book. If you are fascinated with operating systems and new to it, if you have wondered what terms like system calls, timers, threads mean and how they are developed? This book is for you. Major subsystems and features of the Linux kernel like System calls, Memory Management, Loadable Kernel Module framework, Kernel config, Virtual Address Space, Page Cache and Kernel build(for x86 and ARM) are detailed very well in the book. The delivery through both practical and theoretical focus, can meet the expectations of both professional and academic needs. When used along with Linux kernel documentation, this book is bound to provide a deeper, well structured understanding of Linux kernel architecture. Yet to complete reading the entire book and I'm sure that it will keep me interested.
