2016 release, After the incredible success of their debut self-titled album, The Hot Sardines return to the spotlight with French Fries & Champagne. While the album continued to show the Paris-meets-New York backgrounds of the bands leaders, vocalist Miz Elizabeth and bandleader/pianist Evan Bibs Palazzo, French Fries illustrates the duality of the Hot Sardines ethos: on one side, they are a rollicking, lowbrow, gutbucket R&B and hot jazz band, who love to let the good times roll, reveling in the simple pleasures of a good plate of fried food and a sizzling foot-stomper from the '40s and '50s American South. On the other Champagne side, the Sardines are the elegant, smooth, soft and luxurious lovers of lush orchestral arrangements of ballads about newfound love, loss and loneliness. Tracks range from 'Running Wild', the hit from the 1959 Billy Wilder classic rom-com, Some Like It Hot starring Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis, to 'People Will Say We're In Love', from the 1943 Rodgers and Hammerstein Broadway smash, Oklahoma!. There's even a jazzy version of the 1985 smash Pop hit, 'Addicted To Love', made famous by the late British blue-eyed soul singer Robert Palmer.

Tracks:
1.1 Running Wild
1.2 People Will Say We Re in Love
1.3 When I Get Low I Get High (Feat. Alan Cumming)
1.4 Addicted to Love

1.6 Comes Love (L'amour S'en Fout) Medley
1.7 Here You Are Again with Me
1.8 Until the Real Thing Comes Along
1.9 French Fries ; Champagne
1.10 La Fille Aux Cheveux Roux (Weed Smoker's Dream)
1.11 Gramercy Sunset

clear and light sunscreen
Used this sunscreen and it works really well. It goes on clear and spreads easily. Not sticky or oily at all, very comfortable on the skin. Feels light and good for daily use.

Matte and definitely worth purchasing
Love it. It’s definitely matte, but doesn’t dry me out. I put it on with a light moisturizer, and have no issues with pilling. It feels more like a light oil when applying, but that feeling goes away in seconds. I like that it’s also water resistant. I get oily really easily, so I’ve been looking for an affordable matte sunscreen, and this seems to be working really well for me. There’s a sunscreen smell on application, but it’s not too overwhelming and goes away quickly. Overall, 10/10 would definitely recommend, and kinda wish I could gatekeep it.

Best sunscreen ever
Best sunscreen! Extremely smooth, it leaves your skin completely matte. It does not feel like sunscreen, it feels like a high end primer. It’s a gel not even a cream. I use it as my primer, since I have to put sunscreen on anyway, it serves as my primer before make up. I’ve always struggled with finding a decent sunscreen for my face that leaves no cast or hurts my eyes but this one is the best one I’ve ever tried. Matte, smooth, gel, does not hurt eyes, primer for make up. Amazing! And great value for the money.

Feels very oily right after applying
Ok, NON SPONSORED review. I bought this with my own money. It’s a great sunscreen, very lightweight and goes on clear. The only downside is, right after applying it feels like straight cooking oil on your skin. It’s a horrible, horrible sensory experience. But once you give it a couple minutes to dry down, it’s completely matte and feels like nothing. It hasn’t broken me out yet like other sunscreens I’ve tried, so that’s a plus.

Works great under makeup
Excellent for the face! Many sunscreens claim they are good for the face, and blend well. This one actually DOES!! It is also an excellent moisturizer under your makeup without streaking. Just a smooth, beautiful finish. I wear it all year around The sun is just as strong and quite capable of ruining your skin in the winter as well.
