Still, there were other prominent occurrences. First and foremost was the creation of the Mars project with Maria acting as a time-traveling courier. Samantha's mother was inaugurated as the state's governor. Ming was nominated for an Oscar and Palmtop was transformed into a human against her will. The dodos became grandparents and Rosalind was changed in to a credit card, complete with a visible data stripe.
After the wedding, Samantha and Dave accompanied Bambi on her summer concert tour of amusement parks. This led to a lot of drama involving a lost ring and Samantha's grandmother.
