This wine entices with fragrant violets, ripe blackberries, and hints of cured gamey meats. Delicate layers of rhubarb and spices add complexity to the palate. With its impressive power and elegance, this Shiraz fills the mouth with rich fruit flavors. The velvety tannins glide while the finish showcases dark spices and vibrant fruit notes. This wine is a true showstopper, captivating and full of personality and will certainly improve with age.
About the Producer:
In the 1840s, Brett Grocke's (Owner and Winemaker) forefathers planted vineyards near Jacob's Creek in Krondorf, Barossa Valley. As the 6th generation, Brett continue the family tradition of owning and farming vineyards.
Eperosa's motto is "wines built from the dirt up," reflecting their focus on organic and regenerative practices. They carefully manage the vineyards and fruit is handpicked and sorted. Their winemaking follows traditional methods, aiming to capture the vineyard's true character.
The grapes are foot stomped, fermented in small open containers, and aged in French oak barrels. Eperosa has always prioritised sustainability, with an eco-friendly winery design, solar power, rainwater harvesting, and low-impact practices.
