After years of searching for the elusive sensation of heart-rending beauty, Avondlicht releases his debut album. Hyperromance is the culmination of an emotional and geographical journey, as Belgian producer Matthias Dziwak sought to find and examine idealized moments of true romance within the less-than-romantic reality of existence. Having already achieved a great deal with his initial run of EPs for labels like [PIAS], Fog Mountain, and Unit Delta Plus, Antwerp-based Dziwak became obsessed with the concept of Hyperromance - "a moment or idea so heavily romanticised that it seems impossible to be really experienced." The melancholic feeling it sparked in his heart set him off on a journey through Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay, via a month-long stay in Amsterdam and finally to settling for six months in Portugal. Throughout this time, he made field recordings and began writing pieces that would feed into the finished album. Along the way he found a full spectrum of moments that allowed him to view the world in a truly romantic way, from the majesty of the Andean mountains and the snow falling on the Amsterdamse Grachten to encountering love in Lisbon. At other times he found himself lost, adrift, and heartbroken, pulled back to Earth, as is the cyclical nature of the human experience. Musically, Hyperromance's grapple with day-to-day reality and rose-tinted fantasy is embodied through the contrast between organic instrumentation and high-definition electronics. Dziwak began writing his songs as simple piano pieces, which then transferred to a staple of synths and sound processing as they became more wholly defined. Sonically, the sound sweeps from modern classical and bombastic electronica to evocative ambient, even touching on jungle and techno along the way. Rather than being defined by genre associations though, Hyperromance is shaped by the swooning beauty of it's composition, as the music pulls you in and out of richly rendered moments of joy and pain following Dziwak on his personal journey of truth and beauty. With visceral life experiences woven into the fabric of the record, Hyperromance is expressive on the most intimate level. It's a record that dazzles with searing bright wonderment and casts creeping shadows as the time passes - a journey as nuanced as life itself, elevated by romance and grounded by reality, beautifully told by Avondlicht. Includes printed inner-sleeve.

Coofandy has cool shirts!
Size: Large, Color: Army Green
Love this brand. Everything fits! Husband loves the sort of linen shirts.
I buy a lot of clothes there too. Go for it. The price is right and if you don't like it, return it, but I think you'll love it!

Not as advertised, but I like it! This run runs small and not the blend stated.
Size: 4X-Large, Color: Sky Blue
I rely on your reviews a lot, so I am paying it forward here. I needed a summery, lightweight linen type shirt with long sleeves because I'm an old, fat guy and I'm getting those ugly, purple bruises on my arms (if you're under 65, just wait ;). I just got my shirt today. I read the reviews and everybody said the quality, sizing and the material were all over the board and mine is no different.
The label on mine says 60% cotton, 30% viscose and 10% linen. That's a far cry from the 70% Rayon and 30% Linen as stated. However, this material is very light and smooth and has a lot of stretch. The label can't be correct for the material to have this much stretch, but I like it.
It doesn't look anything like the picture either. It has a sort of linen like look, but more of a chambray weave look I would say. And it smells oddly nice, too. I'm sure whatever the smell is will go away after washing, but for now, it's a nice, pleasant, new shirt smell. Must be the Viscose or whatever is in this shirt. It definitely has at least 2% Lycra to be able to stretch like this.
Also, the sizing is way off. For reference, I am 5'6" and 270 with a 52" waist (I told you, old, short and fat :). Many of the reviewers said it ran small, so I ordered up to a 4x and it fits just about perfectly for me. I normally wear a 3x and in some shirts that's too big. This is loose enough but not blousey and most importantly, covers my big belly nicely. The stretch in the fabric is a bonus. So I guessed right with the 4x. However, read the reviews and you will see that the sizing appears to be all over the board.
Finally, the pocket is oddly small. It is fine for my purposes and I absolutely need a pocket to put my sunglasses in and other various little things, but at least in my version, beware that the pocket is oddly small.
I think I got lucky with my order and got what I wanted by default. I will have to be careful washing it, or it might shrink too much (there's no telling what this fabric really is). It is also fairly wrinkled out of the package, but being the cotton/viscose blend that it says it is, it should iron out nicely and not wrinkle with wearing. We shall see.
I'm impressed with the silky feeling and light weight of this shirt and although it doesn't really look like a linen shirt, it looks casual enough for me to fit the bill. I will be wearing it with the sleeves rolled up anyway, as I just needed something that looks casually sharp and can cover the ugly bruises on my forearms. As you can tell if you read through the reviews, what you might get seems to be somewhat of a crap shoot, but I like mine, so good luck!

It’s nice
Size: X-Large, Color: Sky Blue
This men’s long sleeve linen shirt is lightweight and breathable, which makes it comfortable for warmer weather. The fit is okay, but it doesn’t hold its shape very well and wrinkles easily, which can make it look a bit sloppy.
The material feels a little thin, and while it’s casual and easy to wear, it doesn’t have the high-quality feel I was hoping for. Overall, it’s fine for relaxed occasions, but not a standout piece.

Sizes are not standard and color is not accurate per the photos
It did not fit well. The size is not true to the standard and runs larher. Also the color is more burgundy online but the actual fabric is more like a bright tomato red.. color mismatch was the biggest disappointment.
