Winner of the 1964 Grand Prix du Disque from the Académie Charles Cros, the premier French award for musical recordings. This is an absolutely amazing recording of cult French actor Simone Signoret reading Jean Cocteau's 1930 play La Voix humaine (The Human Voice), recorded in one non-stop take in Signoret's Parisian apartment and originally released in 1964. According to French record executive, talent agent, and producer Jacques Canetti, this performance was one of the very best and most intense he ever recorded. Even if you don't understand French, you will feel Simone Signoret's incredible poignancy. Remastered sound; gatefold sleeve.

Really really cute and easy to style

These look GOOD in person. The design is simple but really classy, and the straps don’t look or feel cheap.
The material feels like a smooth faux leather with a slight sheen. It doesn’t feel stiff, and the straps have a little flexibility so they don’t dig into your feet.
Comfort-wise, they’re about what you’d expect for a 4-inch heel. Not something I’d wear all day, but for a few hours or a night out they feel secure and easy enough to walk in.
The black color is perfect. It’s a true black and goes with pretty much everything.
Sizing felt true to size for me. I got an 8 and it fit just right.
At around $45, they feel like a fair value for a simple, stylish heel that looks polished without being over the top. I think they make sense if you want a simple pair of heels you can wear with multiple outfits without spending a lot more.
