The rangers consist of a wide matte pot standing atop of a pedestal, reminiscent of the majestic trees and surrounds of our native wet sclerophyll forests. We took to the Otway Rangers, just inland of Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, for the inspiration behind the colours used here. The silvery grey bark of the Grey Gum Eucalyptus trees, the green fronds of the tall Tree Ferns, and the dusty pinks of the vibrant sunsets so often seen on a warm summer’s night.

Nara pots are produced from high-fired (1280°C) porcelain to create a beautiful matte finish. Strength, porosity, colour, and thermal expansion are monitored during the production to ensure high quality standards are met. These porcelain pots have a warm and earthy feel, smooth lines, and a natural finish. The porcelain itself is pigmented, creating an even distribution of colour throughout the pot.
