키겐, 산체스, 한해로 구성된 멀티풀 하이브리드 힙합유닛 팬텀(Phantom)이 첫 번째 미니앨범 [Phantom City]를 발표하고 가요계에 공식 데뷔를 알렸다. 대한민국 최고의 작곡가 겸 프로듀서 김도훈과 브랜뉴뮤직의 수장 라이머가 의기투합하여 선보이는 팬텀은 정식 활동 전부터 이미 수많은 팬층을 확보하며 음악 관계자들의 뜨거운 관심을 불러모았다.

팬텀의 데뷔 앨범인 [Phantom City]는 멤버들이 직접 작사, 작곡, 편곡 작업에 참여했으며, 앨범 전체의 프로듀싱을 맡아 본인들만의 확고한 음악 세계를 담아냈다. 더불어 브랜뉴뮤직의 수석프로듀서이자 사운드디자이너 마스터키가 믹스와 마스터링을 맡아 진보적인 사운드를 총괄하였고, ‘2011 힙합플레이야 선정 올해의 뮤직비디오 상’을 수상한 문승재 감독이 메가폰을 잡은 뮤직비디오는 감각적인 영상미를 담아냈다.

이번 앨범의 타이틀곡 ''Burning''은 중독성 있는 강렬한 기타 리프 위에 아름다운 멜로디 라인이 흐르는 하이브리드 힙합곡이다. 산체스의 절규하는 듯한 보컬에 한해의 섹시한 하이톤 랩과 키겐의 묵직한 저음랩이 저마다의 컬러를 유지하며 환상적인 조화를 이루고 있으며, 입가에 맴도는 멜로디와 진중한 훅이 세련된 편곡 위에 어우러지며 음악성과 대중성이라는 두마리 토끼를 한 손에 거머쥔 팬텀의 실력을 유감없이 보여준다.
