GoSports Golf Simulator Enclosure — 12'W × 9'H Complete Kit

The GoSports 12'x9' Complete Enclosure Kit is the standard "sweet spot" build for a serious home simulator bay — net, steel frame, and HD impact screen in one box. The 12-foot width matches the most common residential bay footprint, and the 9-foot height clears ceiling-mounted projectors plus accommodates taller golfers' driver swings without scraping the top panel.

This is the most-bought complete kit in the GoSports enclosure lineup because it threads the needle between footprint and ceiling clearance — wide enough for a full driver release, tall enough for ceiling-mount projector throw, without demanding a vaulted basement or oversized garage.

Why The 12'x9' Is The Standard Sim Build

  • 12 ft × 9 ft frame — standard residential bay footprint with tall-golfer clearance
  • Complete kit — steel frame, HD impact screen, side and top net panels in one box
  • 9 ft ceiling clearance — fits ceiling-mounted projectors and taller golfers without scraping
  • HD woven polyester screen — reinforced for real ball strikes at any swing speed
  • Steel frame — commercial-grade, holds geometry under full-speed impacts
  • ~30-minute assembly — no special tools required
  • Universal compatibility — works with any launch monitor and projector
  • Free-standing — no wall or ceiling attachment required

Where The 12'x9' Size Lives

The 12'x9' is the default pick when your room has at least a 9-foot ceiling — which covers most newer-construction basements, garages with bonus headroom, and dedicated sim rooms. The extra foot of height versus the 8-foot kits is what unlocks ceiling-mounted projector installs (so you don't have a projector sitting on the floor behind you) and gives taller golfers full driver clearance through the top of the swing without nicking the top enclosure panel. If your ceiling is exactly 8 feet, drop to the 10'x8' or 14'x8' kits. If you have vaulted clearance and a wider room, the 14'x8' gives you more lateral catch area at the same price as this kit — but most builders pick the 12'x9' because the height matters more than the extra two feet of width for a single hitting station.

GoSports 12'x9' Enclosure Kit — Common Questions

What's actually included in the complete kit?+
Everything for the enclosure itself — the commercial-grade steel frame, the reinforced HD impact screen, side enclosure panels that catch shanks and errant drives, the top enclosure panel that lets you swing wedges and flop shots without worrying about the ceiling, foam frame padding to keep balls from rebounding off the steel, and assembly instructions. Launch monitor, projector, and hitting mat are sold separately — those are the components most builders already have or want to choose themselves.
Why pick 12'x9' over the 14'x8' kit if they're the same price?+
Height vs width. The 12'x9' gives you a 9-foot ceiling requirement, which clears ceiling-mounted projector throw and accommodates taller golfers' driver swings. The 14'x8' is wider but only 8 feet tall — better if your ceiling is exactly 8 feet and you want more lateral catch area, but it forces a floor or shelf-mounted projector and can feel tight on the top of a full-speed driver swing for golfers over about 6 feet. Most home sim builders pick the 12'x9' because the ceiling clearance matters more than two extra feet of width on a single hitting station.
How is this different from the smaller 10'x8' kit?+
The 10'x8' is the budget pick ($999.99) for tight rooms — basement nooks, garage corners, low-ceiling spaces. It still includes the frame, screen, and full enclosure panels, but the 10-foot width can feel cramped on aggressive driver swings and the 8-foot height limits ceiling projector mounting. The 12'x9' is the step up to the "standard" sim build where you have room to actually breathe through a full swing and the headroom to mount your projector overhead. If your room supports it, 12'x9' is the long-term keeper.
What ceiling height do I actually need?+
9 feet minimum. The frame itself is 9 feet tall, so you need at least that much vertical clearance from floor to ceiling. If you plan to ceiling-mount a projector behind the hitting position, factor in another few inches for the mount and projector body — most ceiling-mount setups want 9'2" to 9'6" of total clearance. Measure your actual ceiling height before ordering; finished basements and garages often run a few inches short of nominal.
Does it work with my launch monitor and projector?+
Yes — the enclosure is brand-agnostic. The HD impact screen is a passive projection surface, so any short-throw or standard-throw projector you already own or plan to buy will work. Same with launch monitors — Garmin Approach R10, Rapsodo MLM2PRO, FlightScope Mevo, SkyTrak, Uneekor Eye XO, and others all sit in front of or beside the hitting mat and feed their data to whatever simulator software you run on your PC or tablet. No proprietary connections.
How long does assembly really take?+
About 30 minutes for two people with the instructions in hand. Solo assembly is doable but adds another 15-20 minutes because holding the top frame rails in position while securing the connectors is easier with a second pair of hands. No special tools required — the frame uses pin-and-connector joinery and the screen and panels attach with bungee or hook fasteners.

Works amazingly, but only if you install it correctly.
Material Type: 157mil Closed Cell Foam, Style: 157 mil 36 SqFt
If you purchasing Siless Liner 157 mil (4 mm) Sound Deadening mat, to block unwanted sounds in your car, this is what you need to buy. But wait! It's not the only thing you need to buy if you want to "actually" deaden sound. By itself, it will definitely block a noticeable amount of sound, and, most likely, that's all you realistically need. But... But... If you want the Siless Liner Sound Deadening Mat to really help you take it up a few notches, to get the best sound almost bordering on soundproofing, listen up. You will have to install traditional butyl rubber first. Doesn't have to be the Siless brand, but I'm sure they would love to sell both to you, I used both Killmat (80mil) and Noico (50mil). I have a Honda S2000. It's a two-seater convertible sports car if you don't know what this car is, and it's loud when I'm driving above 60mph. I also happen to have a sound system installed as well. Other than that, the car is stock. I first installed the butyl rubber on the car's interior sheet metal. I went all out and covered everything I could. I didn't need to but I wanted to. I was extremely impressed with the results. But I wanted to go further. Not because I needed to but because just wanted to see what it would be like. So I bought Siless Liner 157 mil (4 mm) 36sqft Sound Deadening mat to go on top of the butyl rubber mats. I put this over every area I installed the butyl rubber. I had to be careful of clearance issues since I added a significant amount of underlayment, and you should too. If you put butyl rubber sound-deadening materials in 50% of the total interior area, you'll hear a noticeable improvement. If you put butyl in about 80% of the total area, you'll be even more amazed at the improvement, compared to before. I originally did all the above myself, so that's my experience and so your mileage may vary. I then installed the Siless Liner Sound Deadening mat over every place I could even going further than I could with the butyl rubber. I used the Siles Liner in areas where butyl rubber would not have been effective, such as the roll bar hoop area and large empty cavities or holes. I covered everything I could, firewall, doors, floor pan, transmission tunnel, trunk, trunk lid, fuel tank area, rear quarter panels, and rear-wheel tunnels, in Siless Liner Sound Deadening Mat. WOW!! The Siless Liner Sound Deadening Mat was the icing on the cake! Let's not forget, this car is a convertible sports car so it will never be a quiet ride, ever. But I can now actually have a conversation with a passenger at a normal-ish volume! This also means I can now have a normal hands-free phone call without having to plug one ear to block out the noise! My sound system sounds so much better! Just by going through the install process, I looked for any vibration, rattle, squeak, and noise-prone areas to either eliminate or reduce unwanted noise production. If you forget this step, the inside and outside of your car will rattle and buzz. I skipped this step the first time around. But did it right before I installed more butyl rubber and the improvement was impressive, especially inside the car. Outside the car, I didn't notice a difference until I put the last layer of Siless Liner Sound Deadening Mat. The sound deadening mat works both ways from what I can tell. If I turned up my music, as loud as I occasionally do, parked in the attached garage to the house, with the garage door closed, I would be barely able to tell the car was playing music in the garage. It sounds like it is another car, just a little bit down the street, with a very loud base. If you stand 20 feet away outside the car, the sound system is noticeable, but not obnoxious by a long shot. Get a 3 piece wood/metal roller set as well, which makes quick work of large areas.
