The domed matte gold locket dates to the early 1900s. The piece opens from top to bottom and can hold a cloth with a favorite scent or photos of loved ones. The front of the locket is accented with four old European cut diamonds. It is marked for 14k gold and bears Swiss hallmarks indicating that it was made between 1880-1934.
The locket is in good condition with some light scratching near the hinge and a few small dings on the back of the piece. We are providing the option to purchase the locket with or without the 18 inch 14k gold chain depicted in the photos.
