As a super-telephoto lens Fujifilm have accomplished a compact and lightweight body, weighing just 580g and 132.5mm (5.2in) long. This makes the experience with the Fujifilm 70-300mm comfortable and more enjoyable to work with.

With the wide focal range of 70-300mm and close focusing distance of 0.83m (37.7in), you can capture glimpses of wildlife in the distant horizon or embrace the scene of the sun as it sets between the mountains. Picture-perfect
Fujifilm have built this super telephoto lens to deliver incredible image quality. They have incorporated 17 elements in 12 groups, including one aspherical element and two ED (extra-low dispersion) elements to reduce aberrations and achieve stunning contrast.
Precise Autofocus
Fujifilm have incorporated an ultra-fast linear motor in the internal focus system to enable rapid and whisper-quiet autofocusing. Benefit from keeping up with the unpredictable nature of wildlife and fast-action sports to achieve sharp images. This technology takes maximum advantage of the advanced AF system that is found in X Series cameras.
Optical Image Stabilization
This lens includes an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) system which gives you up go 5.5 stops of correction. So even when you go handheld in more challenging conditions, the system will work to protect your image from camera shake. Images will be consistently in focus and sharp in detail.
Compatible with 1.4x and 2x Teleconverters
The Fujifilm 70-300mm lens is compatible with FUJINON XF1.3X TC WR and FUJINON XF2X TC WR teleconverters which helps achieve a maximum 35mm equivalent focal length of 914mm with only 2 stops of stop-loss. Fujifilm have opened up a door of opportunities for photographers by providing such a huge focal range in such a compact and lightweight body.
Weather Resistant
Fujifilm have constructed the 70-300mm lens to be durable and weather resistant so you can shoot even in extreme conditions.
