This antique charm (circa 1870 1890) features a micromosaic butterfly of hand placed glass tesserae set in 14k gold. It was originally an antique stick pin but was converted by removing the pin and adding a gold bail. The piece measures 0. 9 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 0. 5 inches wide. It is in good condition with some missing glass tesserae

The piece measures 0.9 inches from the top of the jump ring to bottom by 0.5 inches wide. It is in good condition with some missing glass tesserae near the top left side of the piece.

The Ad got me, the reality didn't

Now my neighbor bought this squirrel with three high-quality squeakers nearly a year ago. He'll pick it up once in a while but it certainly didn't meet my expectations. The good thing is that there are three of them so I can give him some brief excitement in the future. Wouldn't buy again.
