The A400 Xtreme Plus delivers the versatility to shoot 12 gauge 2-3/4" to 3-1/2" loads through a hunting gun with the weight, balance and barrel previously found only on a high-performance competition shotgun. Beretta has revolutionized the world of recoil reduction, reducing felt recoil by up to 70%, giving hunters the maximum of comfort and control together. 

The A400 Xtreme Plus features Beretta’s exclusive Steelium Plus barrels with a 14-inch forcing cone is a first for hunting shotguns providing the best patterning possible from all hunting loads. Further drawing from the competition shooting world, the new A400 Xtreme Plus barrel features a 7mm X 7mm step rib with an integral mid-bead and fibre optic front bead in order to ensure the proper fit and sight picture for all conditions.

Further enhancing the A400 Xtreme Plus is the addition of an extended charging handle and bolt release from the factory to allow for easier manipulation as well as an enlarged loading port which reduces thumb bite and includes a high visibility green follower. Included are Five Optima Bore HP Extended Black Edition Choke tubes to match your load and hunting conditions (F,IM,M,IC,C).
