In the years following it was favoured by fictional spy James Bond in Ian Flemings novels, as well as having a regular cameo on the set of Friends and has subsequently become arguably the most iconic filter brewer of all time.
The Chemex with careful use yields a clean and delicious cup of filter coffee with accentuated body when compared with a more conventional pour-over cone set as the double bonded paper serves to lengthen contact time between the ground coffee and water.
