The wine is robust and a bit rustic, and can be a ‘love it or hate it’ wine. But it makes an amazing pairing with lean, big flavoured meats like game, and with spicy foods like Ghanian meat pies.
In our first 3 years, our Baco block produced excellent wine, but in small amounts. When we combined them, the result was something special: a smooth, big-flavoured, rustic red. If you want take a walk on the wild side, take a chance and try some Base 3.
