Witch Hazel bark is used much like the leaves – for its ability to tighten and tone and to support venous health. The bark however contains a higher content of a specific astringent compound, hamamelitannin. <br><br>COMMON NAMES: Hamamelis, Winterbloom.<
Ingredients: Witch Hazel
Common use:
Herbal astringent; supports healthy veins; promotes healthy circulation.
Suggested directions:
Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ½ to 1 teaspoonful of herb. Allow to steep 4-7 minutes, then strain. Drink 1- 2 cups of tea daily. If desired, add honey and/or lemon to taste.
