Awakening

This magnificent Orthoceras sculpture tower from Morocco 229*80mm weighs 2313g. These creatures lived in the Devonian period about 380 million years ago.

Orthoceras fossils are typically black or grey, with white or beige patterns of calcite and (blackish) mud and organic matter remnants. These fossils are found in sedimentary limestone and shale deposits around the globe. Orthoceras were Nautiloid cephalopods, ancestors to modern-day squid and octopus. Orthoceras fossils are mainly found and mined in Morocco. There, they are commonly found with round Ammonites called Goniatites. Orthoceras fossils are among the earliest recognizable animals. Although they were among the earliest forms of life, this class of Nautiloid is considered one of the more intelligent forms of ocean life.

Orthoceras had a long straight shell. They ranged in size from one centimetre to over two metres in length. They could swim as well as crawl on the ocean floor. They filled chambers in their shells with air to float through the seas, propelling themselves by squirting jets of water.

The younger examples are around 110-million-year-old, with others being much older. Their main period was from 443 million years up to 485-million-years ago. The oceans at the time in the Ordovician Period teemed with life. Their shells accumulated upon the ocean floor when they died. They were then covered by sediments.

Orthoceras activates the Root Chakra by grounding you with the ancient energy of Earth. It can push you on a path of transformation, helping you shift from who you were to becoming who you want to be.

Kitchen accessory holder
Color: Black
This is a black dishcloth and accessory holder made of steel. It has a wire bin with an angled bottom plate to allow water to run off into the sink rather than pool (a plus!) It has a bar that clips on and hangs across the front to hold our dishcloth. We put a hand soap dispenser in along with sponges and a scrubbing pad. It does come with a clear plastic sticky strip with molded catches if you want to hang it in the sink, but we set ours on the top of the sink. Works well and doesn't move around or fall. A nice kitchen gadget.

Perfect sink organizer, keeps everything dry and clean
Color: Black
I honestly didn’t realize how much I needed this until I got it. My sink area used to always look messy with wet sponges, soap bottles, and water all over the counter. This sink caddy completely fixed that. It keeps everything in one place — my dish soap, spray, sponge, and even a towel — and allows everything to dry quickly instead of staying wet. I also like that it’s sturdy and doesn’t take up too much space. It makes my kitchen look more organized and clean without any effort.

Cute addition!
Color: Black
As advertised. Good size for my sink area. Room for dish soap, hand soap pump and kitchen sponge. A place to hang my kitchen wash cloth too.

Very sturdy and well designed organizer
Color: Black
Sturdy kitchen sink organizer. I measured and it truly is small. It holds large bottle soap, smaller bottle of cleaner, small round dish brush cleaner. The rack clips to the front and folds dish cloth. The tray slants toward sink for water to drain easily. I could have used a few inches longer. This makes a difference and I recommend for its sturdiness and useful design.
