In bocca rivela corpo e profondità, mentre si distende grazie alla marcata freschezza. Ottima la lunghezza, sul finale diviene sapido e piacevolmente tostato.Il Sicilia Menfi Chardonnay DOC “Didacus” 2018 è il tributo a Diego Planeta, il fondatore di questa celebre cantina siciliana. Un bianco prodotto in edizione limitata a partire dai migliori grappoli di chardonnay, raccolti a mano nel vigneto impiantato nel 1985 e posto nei pressi del lago Arancio. La fermentazione è svolta in acciaio e il successivamente il vino è posto a maturare in botti di legno di diversa dimensione, origine e tostatura. Didacus esprime ai massimi livelli la filosofia di Planeta ed è il risultato della perfetta sintesi tra tradizione e modernità.
Bianco importante, da abbinare a tranci di pesce in salsa e carni bianche delicatamente speziate.
