Making your own fabric mini sewing machine it's so fun and the final piece is a unique handmade gift for any sewing lover! It's made out of paperboard, fabric and glue using the lovely craft cartonnage!! The machine will be sturdy as wood, but made with your favorite fabric!
NEW to this kit - the decorative foot is now included! The box under the machine you can see in some pictures is a suggestion, the DIY kits are sold separately. This DIY cartonnage Kit comes with all cardboard you need to make your own mini fabric sewing machine as shown in the pictures. The pieces of paper (chipboard and poster board) are pre-cut in the right sizes you need for this project. The finished machine will be 7 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 4". With this DIY kit there is no worries about cutting paper. The chipboard used in this kit is 100 point (0.1 in) thick, extra heavy, so this machine will be very sturdy and well finished! Needle and decorative foot included. Fabric and other contents showed in pictures are not included. You will be able to choose how you want the handle, it can be made as a pin cushion or just for decoration, both options included in the instructions.

The instruction is a very clear PDF tutorial (written tutorial) with over 130 pictures showing in details step by step to guide you through the whole process (it is not video, it's written instructions), no steps missing, no guessing! Inside the kit you will find the password and easy directions to download the instruction to your computer.
For making this mini fabric sewing machine you will need this kit, two coordinating fabrics (1 fat quarter each), glue, rotary cutter, cutting board, a small paint roller with tray, paint brush, masking tape, scissor, paper awl or seam ripper, hot glue, instant glue.
Cartonnage tools (spatula and corner tool) will facilitate the process and give a better finishing for your project. Find them in the tools section of the shop.
