#1 - ISO 50047: Quantifying Energy Savings
Energy savings — Determination of energy savings in organizations

This educational training will take you through ISO 50047:2016 (International Organization for Standardization) approaches for the determination of energy savings in organizations. It can be used by all organizations, whether or not they have an energy management system, such as ISO 50001. Energy accounting and avoidance of double-counting are key features of the course. Energy savings calculations forms a foundation for the M&V of energy savings. The calculations also support the IPMVP’s four options of M&V.

Course Outline:

- Introduction to ISO 50000 series and ISO 50047
- Organizational context, scope & boundaries
- Top down and bottom up approaches
- Energy accounting – primary & delivered energy
- Baselines, adjustments & normalisation
- Calculation principles, uncertainty & data quality
- Reporting, renewables and carbon

#2 - ISO 50015: Best Practice M&V Guidelines
Energy management systems — Measurement and verification of energy performance of organizations

This educational training explores ISO 50015 (International Organization for Standardization). The course is method-agnostic and puts into place, structures and templates that can be used in conjunction with the industry leading standard International Performance Measurement Verification protocol (IPMVP) to provide an extra layer of credibility and transparency when developing Measurement & Verification (M&V) plans and demonstrating quantified savings results.

Course Outline:

  • Introduction to 50000 series and 50015
  • Energy savings concept refresher
  • IPMVP refresher (includes for those not familiar with the protocol and its four basic M&V options)
  • IPMVP plan examples
  • Integrating the ISO 50015 standard to the IPMVP
  • 500015 in detail: planning and savings reports
  • Templates and quiz to finish with

#3 -  ISO 50006: Energy Baselines
Energy management systems — Evaluating energy performance using energy performance indicators and energy baselines

Establishing energy baselines from data are fundamental to quantifying energy savings accurately. There are several ways to develop baselines (the IPMVP, for example, also references retrofit, partial retrofit and whole facility approaches). This educational course covering ISO 50006:2023 (International Organization for Standardization) will take you through the development of energy baselines with a practical example using regression analysis; how the M&V plan (Measurement & Verification) is then developed and concludes with a savings report with a project example. Tools and templates are provided.

Course Outline:

  • Introduction to 50000 series and 50006
  • Identifying, setting, and using EnPis and EnBs
  • Adjustments: relevant variables and static factors Performance evaluation
  • Practical development of an IPMVP-adherent M&V plan and savings reports
  • Use of Excel spreadsheets, regression equations
  • Quiz and questions & answers

Who should attend?
Energy managers, facility managers, building owners, building operators, M&V professionals, PMVA's, government energy policy makers or energy office officials, health sector professionals, energy data analysts, energy consultants, stakeholders or energy project investors, lawyers etc. wishing to better understand the ISO series in energy management when it comes to energy savings projects.

Note: The ISO standards themselves are not offered as part of the course but may be purchased directly from ISO.org.

    Great dry spot treatment!
Worked wonders on winter dry patches on my cheeks and sides of mouth. I’m a somewhat new Prequel product user. I follow the creator on YouTube and love her skincare videos. I have tried a few products so far and have been happy with the results. I just ordered the foot repair ointment for my husband as well. I think this brand is a great value for the money. I have not had any bad reactions so far and I have VERY sensitive skin. This ointment is lightweight and melts into my skin well and the next morning my dry spots were literally invisible. It’s fragrance free, I did not notice any scent at all, which is importance to me.

    This is a barrier cream?
I also have very oily skin, so normally I stay away from anything that says barrier or balm. I push skin a lot lol...with max strength tretinoin, glycolic acids, salicylic acids, vitamin C... so there are times when I just need max help from a richer product bc sometimes I take it too far. LRP Cicaplast has been a staple and has saved me many a times. I bought this bc of the high percentage of ectoin, 5%, and it was so reasonably priced. When I squeezed the tube, I was really worried, it was thicker looking than the Cicaplast. However, when I spread it out, it was SO light and a tiny amount --barely a pea size, was enough to coat my face. It did not feel heavy. Even with my oily skin, I think I could wear this everyday. As an experiment, I applied any excess on one side of my hand, as I'm right handed, I would apply it on my left hand. I've had this about a week, and right now after doing the dishes, and washing my hands multiple times without any hand cream on it, my right hand is definitely drier than my left hand. My left hand also looks less red and more calm. This formula is 5 stars for both the effectiveness and the elegant formula. It may yet replace my LRP Cicaplast...we'll see!
