I think that general attribution for it would be Kyo Kinko, however I hope that if sent NBTHK might give it a better one. Possibly Ichinomiya School? Made of great quality dark black shakudo with nanako ground. Decorated with gold iroe.
This kozuka makes a real impression in original size. The difference in size of adult horses and young ones is stunning. At first glance big ones appear small and then we see the young ones which are almost hard to spot. Especially the one on the left.
Made in late edo period.
Size: 97 mm x 14 mm
