Tropheus Dubosi Masra Tanganyikan African Cichlids 4cmOverview: The Tropheus Dubosi Maswa, known for its eye-catching coloration and unique patterns, is a vibrant cichlid from Lake Tanganyika. With its bold hues and energetic behavior, this species makes a captivating centerpiece in any aquarium.
Origin: Indigenous to the Maswa region of Lake Tanganyika, Tropheus Dubosi Maswa thrives in the lake’s rocky and algae-rich environments. They are adapted to life among the rocky substrates and clear waters of their native habitat.
Feeding: Tropheus Dubosi Maswa are primarily herbivorous, feeding on algae and plant matter in the wild. In captivity, they should be given a diet of high-quality spirulina-based pellets, algae wafers, and occasional fresh vegetable matter. A plant-based diet is crucial for maintaining their vibrant colors and overall health.
Tank Mates: Although Tropheus Dubosi Maswa can be somewhat territorial, they generally do well with other Tanganyikan cichlids that have similar needs. Suitable tank mates include other Tropheus varieties and peaceful species such as Neolamprologus. Avoid housing them with overly aggressive or significantly larger fish to prevent stress and conflict.
Aggression: Tropheus Dubosi Maswa can exhibit territorial behavior and establish dominance hierarchies, particularly during breeding or when establishing territories. Providing plenty of rockwork and hiding spots helps reduce aggression and allows fish to claim their own space. They thrive in groups, which helps distribute aggression and maintain social order.
Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced. Due to their specific dietary requirements and potential for territorial behavior, Tropheus Dubosi Maswa are best suited for aquarists with some experience in maintaining cichlid aquariums and managing stable water conditions.
Water Parameters: To ensure their well-being, maintain water temperatures between 75-80°F (24-27°C), a pH of 7.8-9.0, and a hardness of 10-20 dGH. Regular water changes and diligent monitoring of water quality are essential to keeping these parameters stable.
In summary, the Tropheus Dubosi Maswa is a colorful and engaging Tanganyikan cichlid that adds vibrancy and activity to any aquarium. With appropriate care and attention to their specific needs, they make a rewarding addition for intermediate to advanced aquarists looking to enhance their tank with a dynamic and beautiful species.

Hair growth
I see results with my hair growth I'm very pleased. There is a noticeable smell to it but dissipates over a short time.

Great product, saved my hair
Honestly this is one of the best products I have ever used for my hair. I have been able to increase volume and thickness of my hair. The product is versatile and can be used in conjunction with other products as well. The application is very easy and I usually use any excess product on my skin for the added benefits. If you have fine hair your hair will get oily if you don't wash out so I just apply at night and wash out the next morning. Overall my hair is so much healthier and I am really happy I found this. Also I apply this 2-3 times per week overnight and wash in the AM. It will stain your pillow case so sleep with a bonnet or something with breathable material.

Love this batana oil over the other brands
This batana oil has natural ingredients and leaves my hair very moisturized. I have seen some hair growth after using this for a few weeks. So it's great value for my money. It does have a coffee scent but that doesn't bother me at all. I would definitely repurchase this again.

**UPDATE ON PDT*** Ingredients changed
Ok here’s my update (4/4/26)
We loved it. It did what it was supposed to do in the beginning but now I stopped using the product. Ingredients must’ve changed. It’s now a darker color, it doesn’t dissolve like it did in the past, and worst part— my daughter’s hair started breaking off. It could just be her hair but I don’t want to take chances. The ingredients definitely changed.
We are trying azure batana and will stick with it for 3 months to see results. But as of now their product looks like the real deal. It’s a shame because I like consistency. I’ll stick with one product for years. Oh well. Tossed this one out.

Yes it works. It smells so if you’re sensitive to smells, you might only want to use it as a deep conditioner. Both my daughter & I are adjusted to the smell and love the results so we can easily prioritize our results over the less than fragrant odor. But the results!!!
My daughter lost 40% of her hair a yr ago to severe scalp ezcema (+ a trip to St Martin’s beautiful yet salty water). We used other products with marginal success. I started using this product 2 months ago & I already see results. We use it twice weekly as a spot treatment along the crown & nape of her head, and deep condition with it twice monthly. Her locs are growing and more importantly, her edges and nape are recovering tremendously. We’re going to keep at it!! We like the texture (moist but not sticky), it leaves her locs moisturized but not weighed down. Her hair is drinking it up. Will repost after 2 more months.
