Killing wasn’t all that bad when you learned what was really going on. Death was a rule of the world. Everyone knew that. It was how systems renewed themselves. It was beautiful, in a way. These other things, though — these other things didn’t die on their own. Something in reality had slipped a spoke and they ran on and on. It was up to the group to punch their ticket. It was up to him. He had done many such things for the group since 1943. Since any semblance of normal life had ended.

No one knew what the things were, really. He had heard some in the group go on and on about Elder Ones and cycles and elliptical orbits of dead stars that ruined the world every 900 million years. He’d seen reports on time gates and ray guns and things that, if they slipped past the net the group had raised, could destabilize the whole world.

Once, he saw something huge and gelatinous and covered in a thousand eyes crawl up from a hand-carved pit in Peru, struggle over the ledge, and consume a tied-up goat with the avidity of a spider feeding on a fly.

That was okay. There were worse things, really.

Rich, masculine, woody experience that differs from most body washes
This soap is almost meditative. Rich Woody, smoky, deep experience. Masculine. Not overly fresh, but extremely pleasant. This lathers and cleans better than most soaps. I’ve tried. I use a lot of Cremo brand products. Their soaps sud well and feel great. This one really caught me by surprise on how much I enjoyed it. If you’re tired of the normal synthetic body wash smells, give this a try.

Elevates my shower routine—luxury scent without the luxury price
I’ve been using the Cremo Palo Santo body wash for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The scent is rich and complex—bright cardamom, dry papyrus, and aromatic palo santo blend together to create a fragrance that’s both grounding and refreshing. It’s like a spa experience in your own shower. The formula lathers up beautifully, turning into a creamy foam that feels moisturizing without being greasy. My skin feels clean and soft afterward, not tight or dry. I appreciate that it’s designed for all skin types, and I haven’t experienced any irritation. What really stands out is the longevity of the scent. It lingers subtly on the skin, and I’ve even noticed it on my clothes the next day. It’s not overpowering, just a pleasant, masculine aroma that makes me feel put-together. For the price, this body wash offers a premium experience. It’s a great way to elevate your daily routine without splurging on high-end brands. I’ll definitely be repurchasing and exploring other scents in Cremo’s Reserve Collection.

smells luxurious
smells so luxurious. i am on my third bottle and just purchased the fragance as well as the bar soap. thats how much i love the fragance. i wills say, its really intense smell so dont recommend if you are sensitive to strong/lingering smells. leaves my skin super soft. great value for the money, honestly suprised that is not more expensive. its advertised for men but i use it too and love. definetly good for women too who like intense woody/smoky scents.
